Specimen Feng Shui Report
Outside Front
A pleasant location near plenty of fresh energy - it's a real asset to have the park right next to you. The whole terrace looks well refurbished and prosperous.
Priority 1: Protecting the door The influence from the electricity pole in front of the entry is the main priority. The existing main gates are actually shielding the house from its effects, so I think it is best to keep the gates where they are. There is no reason why you need to replace the gates, but if you wanted to, any new gates should be as high as the old ones.
Priority 2: More yang chi into the house As the gates need to stay in position, it would bring more vitality into the house if you made the front door area as light and bright as possible.
Install a prominent decorative light over the front door and a matching one on the wall opposite the front door. Keep the lights on all the time except when you sleep. These counteract the metal pole and make the entrance more yang. Yang energy is needed for vitality, business and conception.
Increase the yang further by painting the walls and ceiling of the entry white. Paint the front door the same green as the rest of the terrace and get a seasonal wreath for it with some red in it.
Priority 3: Directing chi into the entry Replace the existing chimney pot to the right of the door with something more substantial - a trough or stone mounting block would be in keeping with the house's history, but a substantial planter to about knee-high would be fine. You could site it more to the right and nearer the house wall, so it sits at the end of the planting strip. If you get a planter, put in at least one sturdy round-leaved evergreen bush, and red or purple bedding flowers in season.
Other Comments: Dead leaves and decay lower the vitality, so blitz the front garden, and remove the troughs from under the end windows. If you like having troughs there, get four matching ones and put one under each window but lower down, so they break up the lower brickwork visually and are easily reached to keep them fresh-looking.
Outside Back
An attractive courtyard area that gets a fair amount of sunshine and is well used.
Priority 1: Business success The office block is situated in a good position for making money. To stimulate the business, site a water feature (no higher than waist level) outside to the left of the office door as you enter, and also make sure the door will open fully. The water feature needs to be kept fresh and running for it to be effective, but it doesn't need to be huge. A wall mounted one would be sufficient. It can be moved along into the corner if car space is an issue, but you should be able to see it through the office window. Replace the doormat with something rot-proof.
Priority 2 : Enhancing family harmony The back of a house relates to family life and the ability to save money . The back garden holds your 'reserves'. Standing water and decay lower the energy, making it harder to find family time and to restrain from spending. The planters need to be emptied of rainwater and upended/stored for the winter so they can't fill up again. The decking area needs blitzing for dead leaves and rotten stuff.
When you use the decking area in summer, make sure the spiky plants are well away from seating and walk-through areas.
Priority 3: Supporting new beginnings Because your house is an irregular shape, the eastern area which supports start-ups / the first stages of a project is not inside the house, so it cannot be helpful. This does not mean it prevents things happening, just that you have to make more effort yourself.
If you ever decide to invest more money in the house, it would be good to replace the existing conservatory with a bigger one which covered the decking area and could be accessed from the living room and dining room.
This would bring the eastern area inside the house to support new projects. It would give you a bright and versatile extra living /play space, and would let more light into the living-room if you increased the size of the doorway between them.
This extra space could possibly be used for small group sessions as well, with clients having direct access from outside.
There is a longer-term issue about the existing conservatory woodwork which is of an age to start rotting / retaining damp. In the short term, any visible rot and damp should be dealt with as soon as you can, as it lowers the energy.
Hall
A light modern feel to this area, with no clutter or fussiness.
Priority 1: Stimulating money energy I have marked on the house diagram at the end of the recommendations the spot to position a mirror in the hallway near the front door. This is based on a professional formula that relies on accurate compass bearings, so there is only one place it can go. The best size for the mirror is with either the length or breadth measuring 21 / 24 / 34 centimetres.
Priority 2: Keeping the chi circulating Leave the doors to the dining room and kitchen open during the day. Ensure that any pictures on the walls are a good size and show wide vistas with realistic perspective.
Priority 3 :Smoothing out your cash - flow The area near the front door has strong money influences at the moment. They can be encouraged by not using the toilet here. Keep the door to the toilet closed and the toilet lid down. Use it as little as possible.
Kitchen
A well organized room, making good use of a potentially awkward shape.
Priority 1: Promoting health The chi in here would be stimulated by the addition of a few red accents in accessories or crockery.
Priority 2: Encouraging conception Adding more yang energy to your diet can sometimes help conception. If you want to try this, increase the number of meals containing foods like pepper and hot spices, e.g. chili, curry, to a maximum of four per week. Go easy on the quantity of peppery stuff - even a 'mild' curry is sufficient.
Priority 3: Feeling comfortable When you are standing at the stove, try not to have your back directly in line with the point on the end of the work surface behind you. Stand more to the right. If you ever have the surface replaced , consider rounding off that point.
Dining Room
A compact but uncluttered space in appropriate colours. Light yellows/creams stimulate the appetite and encourage sociability.
Priority 1: promoting health As in the kitchen, a few touches of red in the décor will liven the energy and help the digestion.
Priority 2: encouraging family harmony The dining room holds the central area of the house, the 'heart' of the home, that influences your happiness and togetherness as a family. Find a small centrepiece for the table that celebrates family, or have a family photo/portrait made for one of the walls.
Everything else is good as it is.
Living Room
A very spacious airy room, not over-furnished, in warm sociable colours. It covers the NW sector of the house, which relates to people in authority who can help you, and also to the well-being of the man of the house.
Priority 1: Keeping the chi lively Make sure the windows are kept clean and uncovered, so that maximum possible light enters the room. The Christmas tree will bring extra shine to the room but consider adding a couple of standard lamps as well if you are using the room in the daytime.
Priority 2: Supportive directions There are two good directions for J. to face when he uses this room: one is NW, ie facing the TV corner; the other is N, ie facing the fireplace. T's supportive directions are S and SW , which are not practicable in this room, but she could sit facing S in the dining room, that is, with her back to the staircase.
Priority 3: protection and health There is one spot in this room where a Buddha can be positioned to accumulate and give out healthy chi. This is between the far windows on the wall to the left of the TV alcove. It is a precisely calculated spot, so I have marked it on the ground floor diagram. The Buddha can be small but should be made of something breakable like china or semi-precious quartz. It should go on a small ledge above eye-level - in line with the bottom of the windows would be fine.
Conservatory
This room is light and sunny,. It covers the NE of the house, which relates to successful study and competitiveness. As it has no permanent heating, it is less useful than it might be.
Priority 1: using the room The earth energy pattern in this area shows it to be a healthy spot and particularly suitable for females. If you could find some permanent heating for it, and take out one of the sofas, it might make a daytime play-space for M., where she could keep some of her bigger toys and maybe the small TV. This would encourage her to associate her bedroom with sleep rather than activity, and would give her some extra sunshine, which her horoscope suggests is good for her.
No other changes
Bedroom 1: Main
A lovely spacious room with calm colours.
Priority 1: Room use The number of buddhas in the room and the Om on the wall suggest this area is used for meditation as well. Spiritual practices require a different atmosphere to sleeping and making love, so the buddhas and Om should have their own private corner, maybe in a cupboard you can open as needed, or screened off in the alcove behind the stairwell.
Priority 2: Quality of sleep Make sure the bed is far enough over to the right so that you can't see through the door when it's open. It would help you sleep to have the door hinge on the right as you enter the room. Make sure the door to the ensuite is kept closed.
Priority 3: Symbolic influences The pictures opposite the bed are of single men and have a strongly solitary feel about them. Move them elsewhere and find some replacement(s) that suggest warmth / happiness / cuddles / togetherness.
Bedroom 2.
Priority 1: Room use This room would be better used as M's bedroom, and the exercise machines moved to M's current bedroom, so that clients can access them through the office entrance rather than coming through the house. It would also bring M nearer to your room so she might not feel the need to visit during the night, and give more room for toy storage and play -space.
Priority 2: Layout If used for M, the door should hinge on the right as you enter, and the bed should placed with its head against the staircase wall, but far enough away from the window not to be under the ceiling slope. If you are going to paint it pink for her, avoid a very strong pink as it may keep her awake.
Bedroom 3:Guest bedroom
No effect on anyone as it's not used continuously.
Bedroom 4: M's room
Priority 1: Move M to Bedroom 2.
Priority 2: Separating home and business energy Move the exercise machines to this room to gather together the 'business' areas. If both machines won't go in the room, put a door on the corridor between the guest bedroom and this, and site the narrower machine on the landing. Or remove the wall between the landing and bedroom to create more usable space. Or put the machines in the guest bedroom and the guest bed into M's room.

Bathroom
Priority 1: prevent chi draining Paint the room pale green and put eight large pebbles near the toilet. Keep the door shut and the lid down.
No other changes needed
Office
A handy space, well located.
Priority 1: More energy into the business Ensure the door into the room opens fully. You may need to rethink the layout / put up some shelves to do this. Any paperwork you need to keep might go into one of the bedrooms or onto shelves on the landing.
Priority 2: activating money luck Use this room regularly for business- related work. Get some permanent heating to keep it dry and pleasant.
Priority 3: promoting business growth Best colour for the walls is pale leaf green. With black/blue and white posters / accessories.

Comments on the Business Park near XXXXXX roundabout
In favour: plenty of parking and internal space
Against: not similar enough in kind or scale to other businesses on the site too quiet in the evenings and no security pylon near the entrance and major electricity station not far away
Conclusion: The feng shui of this site not great for your particular business. It may be a good business proposition to buy and rent out to someone else to bring in income, but that's something I couldn't advise on.
