2009 Feng Shui Tips

Hampsfell - view from behind my home 2009 is an Ox year: the energy is slow, steady, patient, practical and honest - 'step by step' builds success.

North: To help avoid upsets hang metal chimes or six metal coins. Use your singing bowl here regularly and keep it on display. Avoid strong light and lots of red.

North East: Place a Kwan Yin here for protection, or a Buddha with a gourd to absorb negativity, or a Dragon-headed Turtle facing SW to sooth arguments.

East: Display a Buddha to help keep things stable, or a Buddha with a gourd to absorb negativity. Place a water feature or water picture to help calm things down. Don't sit facing West in this area.

South East: For money luck place a 3-legged toad, or pair of money cats, facing your best direction. Houseplants or a snake picture are good for money. Lucky 8 is here this year.

South: Good for romance and education. Activate romance with mandarin ducks, rose quartz hearts or Double Happiness charm. Activate study success by working in this area or displaying an Owl.

South West: Display Three Gods to help keep the peace. Under stress from NE energy but supported by 'long-life' star. Use touches of blue or black in the bedroom.

West: Display Serenity Buddha for peace. A gold 3-legged toad strengthens wealth luck. A picture of a flat-topped mountain helps avoid quarrels. Avoid facing east. No bright lights this year.

North West: Good for business and romance. To encourage romance place rose quartz hearts or a double happiness talisman. For business and money display 3 coins, a blue 3-legged toad or an elephant.

Centre: Balanced and lucky this year. Activate for romance with a pair of ducks or quartz hearts, and for wealth with eight coins or something golden. To help reverse bad luck, place a jade 'fu' charm here.
